Opportunity for a quality engineer to work for a leading global company in their field who continue to grow by around 13% year on year. The company have a presence in 100+ countries globally and currently have plans to open an additional manufacturing site. This is a new role that they need to add to their team due growth and increased workloads.
The role reports to the quality manager and will initially focus on dealing with customer issues, closing them out and putting in place corrective and preventative actions. Longer term the role will broaden to involve implementing actions to create long term improvements in manufacturing processes.
The client is happy to consider a quality technician who has had good experience and involvement in customer complaints processes who would be stepping up in responsibility to engineer level. They are willing to provide the necessary internal and external training for their industry and the quality manager is looking to develop their team for future career progression as the company continues to grow.

In return, the quality engineer will receive a salary of £28,000-£30,000 (dependent on experience - possibly slightly more for the right person) + pension.
The company are also in the process of introducing a flexible employee benefits scheme. The working hours are 7:45am-5pm Monday to Thursday and 7:45am-1pm on a Friday.
